Top 5 Maps and Navigation Apps in Hungary Q2 2024

During the second quarter of 2024, the top five Maps and Navigation applications in Hungary demonstrated diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users, as per Sensor Tower data.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a steady performance in weekly downloads, starting with around 7.3K at the beginning of April and peaking at 9.3K by the end of June. Weekly active users also saw a consistent increase, rising from approximately 266K to over 306K by the end of the quarter.

BudapestGO experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at around 7.4K at the beginning of April, dipping mid-quarter, and closing June with around 6.3K downloads. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 114K throughout the quarter.

Menetrendek.hu recorded lower weekly downloads compared to other apps, with numbers ranging from around 1.7K to 2.5K. However, it maintained a steady number of active users, averaging around 52K, with a slight peak of 55K in mid-June.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 3.6K and reaching nearly 4.9K by the end of June. Active users showed a similar positive trend, growing from around 39K to over 40K during the same period.

Moovit: Bus & Train Schedules had a relatively stable download count, fluctuating between 2.5K and 3.7K. Active users remained consistent, starting at around 28K and ending the quarter at approximately the same number.
